I have quite a few from all the different places iv'e travelled and lived. Mostly writing in different languages that meant something to me whilst living in that place. They are all black and grey shaded ink, so no colour on me.
My biggest tattoo is a back piece consisting mainly of a samurai and a geisha decorated with text and typical Japanese flower and trees.

So are most of you tattoos Japanese based. Does tattoo sort of connect with each other or there are different meanings?

The first reason is because I was born with a heart condition so the heart specialist said that dyes in tattoos aren't good for me and the second reason is because I am afraid of needles. I went with a friend and her younger sister when she got a tattoo. She was all calm with it and I was the one freaking even though I wasn't getting a tattoo.

I have a Vietnamese tattoo and also a Cantonese tattoo, that kind of blends in off the Japanese one. I also had some done in the US on my legs.

I haven't got any tattoos. I worry, if and when I get one, what if I regret it? It's permanent, and the removal of Tattoos is painful. How much money do they cost anyway?

That's a fair question to consider, but for me personally I wouldn't get one, number 1 I not comfortable with needles and number 2, I am happy what I was born with and don't view my body as a canvas for artwork.
