For my initiation in Japan I had a 'thousand-year' old egg and for my initiation in Vietnam, I drank a shot of snakes blood.
Both were how you can imagine ...

My goodness man, 1,000 year old age and Snakes blood, what's wrong with you? Just joking! But seriously did either one taste better than the other or were there as awful as it sounds? |

They we're both horrible. The thousand-year old egg I actually heaved and couldn't stomach it. I failed my initiation but they clapped me anyway and we had a good laugh. The snakes blood went down but I was actually sick for a while afterwards  |
