My state is officially on lockdown for almost everyone- only critical people are allowed to go to work. You can't go to the doctor unless it's an absolute necessity, and trips to food stores, while allowed, requires a six foot distance between you and other people... to the point that some stores that sell home goods, like CVS, actually have tape down to show you where six feet is and helps separate people on the lines that way.
EDIT: So this was all what the news was saying, but I read the actual order by our governor and it doesn't actually look as serious as they say...

I live in the smallest province (PEI) of Canada. It's not so bad here since the only 21 confirmed cases so far and three of those cases have made full recover. My husband works at grocery store so he notices that people are getting very frustrated with all this. There is one store that my husband and I went to that is only allowing one person per household in the store but we didn't know that at time so they were okay with for that one time but they said the next time it can only be one of us. The grocery store where my husband works are not allowed to use the small carts anymore because people where getting to close to one another and they have glass up at cashier to protect everyone. There is a dollar store is only letting people use the bank card and not letting them use cash.

I understand the rest though in regards to food and medical. No gyms are open. Actually nothing is open apart from supermarkets and the hospital. The daily exercise rule is that you can go ONLY with a member from your household and you can walk around the block keeping a 6 meter distance from anyone else and the police are enforcing it rather strongly ...

We have been in Tier 2 for a month now, which meant non-essential retail could operate under strict government guidelines. We've now been moved to Tier 4, which means non-essential shops and restaurants have to close. I'm dreading to think about how much this cost the economy.

I am uncertain of the economy in your area, but here in Melbourne, Australia, we have been in Stage 3 Lockdown in March till to June or July then we were out again for 2 weeks then they locked us in again ever since on Stage 4 Lockdowns. Lucky, Christmas week everything is somewhat back to normal with the exception of keeping 1.5m distance from others and wearing your masks when indoors.
